Become a Vishvet Local Coordinator (VLC)
Vishvet Local Coordinator (VLC) is women and men who enjoy working with young people are open-minded and believe deeply in the value of cross-cultural exchange. They are located throughout the India and across the world; act as a different program liaison for Vishvet Foundation at a local level.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are interested in counselling international guests coming on our program
- Enjoy talking to anyone and everyone in their community about cultural exchange
- Are self-starters and passionate about wanting to change the world

Vishvet Local Coordinator (VLC) Responsibilities:
Vishvet Local Coordinators (VLC) are teachers, nurses, retirees or stay-at-home moms, and others are bankers, full-time professionals, doctors and many others come from all walks of life and make a significant impact on their local community. You have to have a desire to work flexible, part-time hours from home as independent contractors.
Vishvet Local Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Program promotion of our ongoing programs in your local community
- Submitting reports to the Vishvet Head office; and being available to the student, host family and high school in the event that questions or concerns arise.
- Identifying schools that can accommodate international students and building relationships with school personnel.
- Recruiting families to host international students as well as visitors of our program
- Providing orientation for international visitors and host families.
- Acting as a first contact person for families and international visitors throughout the stay.
Required Skills and qualification
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Have access to a computer and the internet
- Efficient People Management
- Excellent Communication skills in English
- Knowledge of any foreign language will get advantage
- Good Knowledge of Data management & MS Office
- Good networking skills
- Dynamic Personality
- Marketing skills
